The Graduate Shop will be on our campus today to process your senior graduation orders. They will be located in the hallway outside Student Services between the hours of 9:30 until 1:30.  

Today is the last drawing for seniors who have applied to college. Included in today's prizes, we have two sets of prom tickets along with Chick-fil-a gift cards.

For all students who registered at the counselor's table yesterday during both lunch shifts, we will have our last big drawing for all grade levels tomorrow! 

Students come by and visit with the counselors as well as the college recruiters during both lunch shifts for Browse the Boardwalk. We will have the photo booth set up again today! 

We have a new scholarship opportunity available! The Louisiana AFL-CIO will be awarding three $1,000 scholarships at the 67th Annual Convention in March 2023. Applications can be found in the Guidance Office or on the Guidance 12th Grade page at gorebs.org. The timeframe on this scholarship is very important. All application materials are to be mailed to the scholarship committee and MUST be postmarked by January 20, 2023. Get started on yours today!

WMHS Student Council is hosting the LASC State Convention this January. The council is looking for singers, dancers, and actors to perform in their tribute honoring Martin Luther King Jr. at the Convention on January 16th. If you would like to be a part of this tribute, you can see Mrs. Anders in room 4204 for audition information. Audition videos are due by Friday, November 4th. 

Happy Red Ribbon Week West Monroe, this year's theme is "Celebrate Life, Live DRUG FREE." Stop by the library this week during lunch to participate in a candy count contest, trivia games and a coloring competition. Prizes will be awarded! 

AP Club and 30+ club members attending Monday's field trip...

You MUST turn in your completed fuel trip forms to either Mrs. Gulde or Mrs. Etzel by 3rd hour Friday - TOMORROW!!! We have to have final numbers.  You can get field trip forms from either Gulde or Etzel. 

The English Latino Leadership Society will hold a mandatory meeting next Tuesday, November 1st at 3:15.  This meeting will be held in the library and we will be assigning books for you to record as well as signing everyone up for their shifts for our fundraiser.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Eason in room 1206.  Please check your Club Google Classroom regularly for announcements. 

West Monroe FFA is doing a Turkey and meat sale to help alleviate the cost of shop projects as well as travel cost for events that students will attend throughout the year. If you are interested in helping support FFA please see any Ag. student or teacher to see a brochure and place an order. There will also be a brochure placed in the teachers' lounge for faculty to look at the items for sale. All money and order forms are due to Mr. Bratton on October 31st . Payment is cash only. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Bratton. Thank you for all the support. 

Calling all singers and dancers!! Are you interested in performing in the WMHS Spring musical? Here is your chance. This year's spring musical is Mary Poppins and the auditions are Tuesday November 1st after school. We will begin at 3:30 pm in the West Monroe High School choir room. Before the audition, please stop by the outside of the choir room to pick up an audition packet and audition form.  All necessary information is in the packet. You will need to bring the audition form with you to the audition. Break a leg!!

Bingo, Bingo, Bingo. Book Bingo, that is. The library is sponsoring a reading challenge.  Come by the library for more information on how to enter a drawing for a chance to win a $20 gift card.
